13 April 1997 - The case for an Open Amiga, part 1. Carl Sassenrath and Alain Penders, among others, made for a very productive, if rather extended, conference. (Skal Loret logged this.)
17 April 1997 - The case for an Open Amiga, part 2. Over 50 people, including Carl, Alain, Dave Haynie and many other well-known Amigans turned up to continue the discussion. There was a lot of noise, but there are plenty of gems in this monster 6-hour log. (Skal Loret logged this.)
27 July 1997 - JMS meeting. Several JMS members and prospective members discussed issues concerning the Society. (Ben Hutchings wrote this report.)
16 August 1997 - Unofficial gathering. A mixture of JMS members and non-members considered radical ideas for mass membership of the Society. (Cade Hannan wrote this summary.)
23 November 1997 - JMS meeting. Giorgio called a meeting to discuss future directions for the JMS.
